Can anyone give me some info on adding an audio message through the mission editor? Thx, Charlie

You would need to select the "Show incoming audio message" for your command, and the file you use will need to be an "ogg" type file, probably located in your mission folder.

This probably isn't the problem, but remember that Artemis only works with monophonic files. Also, remember to turn down the music because the voice channel is very quiet by comparison.
"Damn the torpedoes! Four bells, Captain Drayton!"

(Likely actual words of Admiral David Farragut, USN, at the battle of Mobile Bay. Four bells was the signal for the engine room to make full steam ahead).

Mike, can you better explain the difference between monophonic and polyphonic? Thank you.

Mono (1 channel) vs Stereo (2 channel) vs Poly (multiple channel). If you're using Audacity, in the Tracks menu there is a "Stereo to Mono" option - that'll collapse it to a monophonic track. Sometimes Artemis will play stereo tracks, just very slowly. Have you tried boosting the sound volume/turning down the music volume?

If you make it stereophonic you will know immediately. Artemis will play it at half speed.
