LBE curiosity.

So, my friends and I have always been big sci-fi fans, and love the concept of being in space, and even more so, serving about a starship together. Our natural skill sets seem to complement one another perfectly. So, when we discovered Artemis, we were instantly enthralled. So we set out to build our own bridge. I just thought I would hit you guys up for some tips and tricks on how to make the experience...authentic. For example, what did everyone use for Captain's chairs? I'm using a slightly modified barber's chair. Any other time, stress or money saving tips would also be appreciated.

I'm wanting to turn a room in our house into a bridge. I still need to get the OK from my wife though.

I'd like to see what you and your friends have built so far. Do you have any pictures available?

No pics available yet, but I will post ASAP. My wife is actually on board. She is as excited as we are.
Only problem is, she thinks she is gonna be Captain. That's my job...lol.

@JosephBranson - easy solution there. Just tell her she needs to pass the Kobayashi Maru test (like Kirk in Star Trek) first! (And then write the scenario accordingly...) :-)

Yeah, that would work, but she's clever, I would really have to stack the deck against her, but that makes it more fun!

Bridge Update: For the temp bridge I'm setting up in my basement, I found a projector screen at a church rummage sale in perfect condition...for $10!! Score!!

The reason it's taking so long to post pics is that construction hasn't even started yet. Our temporary Bridge is going to be in my basement, but the room is filled with stuff, and having a job and taking online classes eats up a lot of my time to clean it out. But I promise, when I have something to show, it will be shown!
