Multiple Bridges full of New Players!

posted Jun 15, 2012 02:30:14 by LazyJ
My company loved this idea so much we bought two bridge licenses and are having an after work LAN party to try it out. Any suggestions for handling multiple bridges for newer players? I know at some point they're going to want to try "vs" - how does that work?

Welcome to the Artemis universe, if you are set on multi-ship play I would window the game and open a Skype channel with second ship then I would work on each ship functioning with or without depending on each other. As new players helm, weapons and captain will need some practice to function effectively. I would try a few games at lower difficulties, with two ships you will probably get to level 5 or so before you might need to assist each other. At this point communications between ships will take on a greater importance.
"Vs" is not as easy but with some devoted players it wont be long to perfect.

Sounds like you guys are in for some good times, best of luck!!!

What a blast! IT Service Companies have plenty of nerds big screens to make this exciting. We had over 12 people in this first run and I think we'll need to get more bridge licenses next time. How many bridges have people had in the same game before?

I was involved with a 3 ship fleet at Mike's place. I Captained the 3rd ship "Horatio" and lets just say, we were destroyed once, "tickled the dragon", and became a dormant wreak the last mission.... gotta love level 10.....
