We're designing badges; we hope to sell them soon. Please let us know what you think of these designs?

:( Too bad it will cost three times the badge price to deliver them to Russia i bet...

I like them over all. One thing I think would be cool is if all the "A"'s on the badge hung off the same amount. I think it would make it appear more consistent and grouped. I also like the manuever and red alert buttons on the helm and comms. Be cool if science had a scan button in the same place.

All points noted and good input; we're in design mode and your opinions count for a lot. :)

Oh and if there were buttons for the other stations, I would suggest, Lock or Fire for weapons, Diagnose or Repair for Engineering, and for the Captain Engage, or maybe just Captain.

I love these! They look fantastic. The visual details do a great job of reflecting each station.

I feel like I like the clean look of Sci the best, by which I mean lacking the secondary text, but I may be alone in that. If we can come up with good titles for each station those are cool too.

That's a cool idea. What size are these? How will they attach to things?

Looking forward to seeing more.

They look like sew-on patches to me. I'd certainly buy a set. I do agree with Simplician, in that I prefer the cleaner SCI badge, without the secondary text.

Don't forget a captain one!

I like them alot! :D Though Sci looks a little... I don't know. There doesn't seem to be a consistent color scheme like the Helm and Comms badges. But I still like them :)

I like the secondary text on the first two badges, and I agree that the Sci badge is lacking some consistent color scheme. They look good!

Great opinions, guys. We have them in work and your comments are terrific. Getting the necessaries in place and then ready for your orders!

And they're standalone patches, able to be sewn to a shirt or iron-on. Looking forward to seeing them in your next videos. :)

I like them! I agree with a lot of the things that have been suggested, though.

1) The "A" needs to be positioned the same on each patch. It should also be identical in terms of color, size, design, etc. It makes the patches look more uniform.

2) I could do without the secondary text (red alert, maneuver, etc.)

3) The patches should all have a more consistent color scheme. I like the Helm and Comms badges, they're mostly one color. The Sci badge is a little too colorful, by comparison. The purple nebula (I know that's the actual color in-game) should probably be a more blue-ish hue, as should the arrow identifier.

Additionally, the embellishments around the edges should probably either be the same for every one, or a little different for every one. Currently, it looks like the Helm and Comms patches were designed by one person, while the Sci patch was designed by someone else, and they just took the "A" logo from the other design and stuck it on there.

The same goes for the font size and style of the station name. Sci looks to be a larger font than the other two.

I think the nebulae on the Science badge looks subconsciously sexual. Those Science Officers are a crafty lot!
"Damn the torpedoes! Four bells, Captain Drayton!"

(Likely actual words of Admiral David Farragut, USN, at the battle of Mobile Bay. Four bells was the signal for the engine room to make full steam ahead).

Too funny Mike!!

OK guys, see what you think. I've incorporated everyone's comments, and much appreciated, although that Sci issue is going to have to be dealt with sometime in the future, ahem. :)
