No documentation for the FOLLOW_NEUTRAL_PATH brain stack rule. How do I use it?

Mission script 1.61 has "FOLLOW_NEUTRAL_PATH" listed as one of the possible valid values for the "type" parameter of the addto_ai command.

But it's not documented. There's no description for it up above where all the other brain stack rules are described.
